Link Between Coconut Oil & Alzheimer’s Disease Now Clinically Studied…

According to Dr. Mary Newport and her bestseller book “Alzheimer’s Disease: What if There Was a Cure?” there is a connection between this disease and coconut oil.

It’s a story that examined people who had early dementia.  It started on the Internet and led many people to send their testimonial videos as well as reports. The majority of these reports weren’t confirmed by the medicine. It still isn’t confirmed that coconut oil can be used as an effective treatment for Alzheimer`s disease.

COCONUT OIL: NON-ALTERNATIVE DRUG TREATMENT AGAINST ALZHEIMER´S DISEASE (published on December 1, 2015 by Nutricion Hospitalaria)

This particular study was performed in Spain because it’s one of the countries that have a limited material that you can use to study without the usage of drugs. Spain has also managed to perform a research on cannabis as well as its medical uses.

This is a study which included patients with Alzheimer`s who were of various ages and genders. Some of them had diabetes, but some of them didn’t have it. The study was intended to prove whether coconut oil can reduce the symptoms of Alzheimer`s.

The group that had to be research took 40 ml of coconut oil a day. That equals 2.7 tablespoons. According to experts, 3 tablespoons a day are sufficient, but it still depends on the tolerance of the oil the person has and also how severe the disease is.

The results showed an improvement in the cognitive status of the patients, especially in women, but also improved results in patients with diabetes mellitus type II.

The team managed to prove that coconut oil has a positive effect on patients with Alzheimer’s.

There were also other studies that tried to prove the beneficial effect of coconut oil, but it still hasn’t seen the light of day.

The Fallacy of No and Low Fat Dieting

Coconut oil contains saturated fats that are very important for our health in general, especially heart problems and brain health.

Unfortunately, Ancel Keys Seven Countries Study is the one to give Crisco permission to use unhealthy processed hydrogenated oils in their coconut butter and oil.

These oils in particular are very dangerous and are connected to obesity, heart problems, rheumatoid arthritis etc. Other things that can also increase the risk of these diseases are corn syrups high in fructose and various types of sugar.

Pharmaceutical Failures for Alzheimer’s

Alzheimer`s disease is mostly considered to be ‘untreatable’. That’s because none of the great companies have published success in treating it. Their medicines only cause various side-effects which later cause numerous diseases.

Coconut Oil for Alzheimer’s Prevention and Reversal

Our brain is full of 25% of our total cholesterol. We need cholesterol to work for us as an antioxidant so that it can improve the work of our brain. It is also very important for the creation of synapses in the brain and how they function.

Coconut oil is abundant in some medium chain triglycerides which are called MCTs. They can be digested easily. Then they become ketones that our body can use as a source of energy.

The LCTs or LCFAs are stored as fat. Our brain lacks energy because its cells can’t use insulin for glucose.

The inability of the cells to process insulin is considered to be the main reason why Alzheimer`s is considered to be diabetes 3. It’s about how our liver processes coconut oil MCTs. Ketones are what our brain needs, because they offer all that it’s needed and improve the blood circulation at the same time.

Ketones can disappear easily, so we need to have a healthy diet that will be rich in coconut oil. We must take at least 3 tablespoons a day so that we could have plenty of energy. Coconut oil will give us healthy fats e.g. cholesterol and the ketones will give us brain energy. We need coconut oil so that we can have optimal energy capacity and an improved brain structure.
